Walking
Victoria is the most walkable city in Canada, according to a study by Colliers International. Victoria’s Walk Score of 88 puts it well ahead of other Canadian cities, including Toronto (Walk Score 72), Montreal (Walk Score 67) and Vancouver (Walk Score 65). The high ranking is due to Victoria’s compact downtown core and abundance of amenities within walking distance. With its temperate climate and plethora of parks, gardens and waterfront paths, Victoria is an ideal place to get around on foot.
